Groundworker/Ganger

Rate: £24.00 per hour (CIS)

Hours: 50 hours per week

Project: AMP8 Water Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker/Ganger to support and coordinate a civils team on a major AMP8 water project.

Duties

Oversee and coordinate groundworkers and civil operatives

Allocate daily tasks and maintain safe, efficient workflow

Liaise with site management to ensure productivity

Enforce health & safety procedures

Assist with groundwork and civils activities when required

Requirements

Proven Ganger experience on civils or utilities projects

SMSTS preferred (SSSTS accepted with strong experience)

Valid CSCS Card

First Aid at Work

Ability to lead a team and read drawings/work programmes

Two checkable references
